Personsal Responsibility is one of our hallmarks. We do not believe in "Daddy do my homework for me" prayers. We do not believe that every problem that comes into a Christian life is "spiritual warfare." We DO believe that God designed a magnificent system and installed principles, rules and laws - and if we devote ourselves to learn those, we will do better. One such rule is "Be worthy of what you want." For personal finances, that means "if you want more money, be worth more money."
We believe that God ratifies Divorce for Cause - that abuse, abandonment, cruelty, and breaking of the vows are NOT acceptable - and God does not expect a person to stay in a marriage where the other partner ignores or violates the vows her or she made before God. We prevent a "free for all" with The Deal Principle.
We believe Women are to be respected and honored and NOT treated as sex objects - and that means that if bikinis are normal for pool and beach wear - then that's okay - because it's about the human BEING, not the human BODY.
We believe that Men should be selfless leaders, and a wife's submission to his team leadership is dependent upon how he leads for the TEAM, not just for himself.
We do not concern ourselves much with the "sins" that people commit privately that hurt no one, but we DO concern ourselves greatly with malicious sins that hurt others, including gossip, lies, violence, judgment, and condemnation. If this sounds like your kind of church...
